The short version: Corporate Confusion has no accounts, and your progress stays on your device. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some device information to show and measure them. You decide whether ads may use your device's advertising identifier.
What stays on your device
The game saves your progress, your career, your bands, your settings and your memo history on your device. This data is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it.
Your device backup (iCloud Backup or a backup on your computer) can include this data. Apple's privacy policy covers those backups.
Ads
Corporate Confusion shows ads. They appear between assignments, after your performance review, and never while you are aiming or playing. Some ads are your choice: after you are fired, you can watch a short video to ask HR to review your case.
The ads come from Google AdMob, Google's advertising network for apps. To show ads, limit how often you see the same one, and measure whether they work, Google may collect:
- device and connection information, such as IP address, device model, operating system and language;
- an approximate location, worked out from your IP address;
- how you interact with ads, such as which ads you see and tap;
- performance information from the ad software, such as load times and crashes;
- your device's advertising identifier, but only if you allow it (see below).
Google handles this data under the Google Privacy Policy. To learn more, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. We receive only summary reports, such as how many ads were shown, and nothing that identifies you.
Your choices
- Tracking. The game may ask whether it can track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose not to allow it, Google cannot use your advertising identifier, and the ads you see are not personalized by tracking. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Consent. Where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent before it shows personalized ads.
Purchases
Purchases go through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment. The game only learns which items your Apple Account owns, so that it can unlock them. We do not receive your name, your email address or your payment details.
What the game does not do
- No accounts, sign-ins, emails or phone numbers.
- No analytics or crash-reporting services from other companies.
- Apart from Google AdMob, described above, no sharing of data with anyone.
If a future version changes any of this, we will update this policy before that version is released.
Children
Corporate Confusion is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Release news
If you give us your email address to hear when Corporate Confusion comes out, we keep it on our own server, with the date and time you sent it, and nothing else about you. We use it for one thing: an email when the game is released. We never share it with anyone. To be taken off the list, email us and we delete it.

Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type and time) for security and to fix problems.
