The Cubicle Christmas Party, as a new player first sees it: the sticky note of tasks in the bottom-left corner, and a note that says Swipe sideways to look around the party

How it plays

Touch the room. Pull back. Let go.

You sit at the party with a rubber band and a sticky note of things to do. The rest of the room is up to you.

  1. Touch

Put your finger where the band should catch.

  2. Pull back

Drag away from the target. The farther you pull, the harder it goes.

  3. Let go

Presents tumble, balloons pop, cookies scatter. Things knock into other things.

  4. Keep celebrating

Three tasks finish a round. The bonuses and the secrets are still there after.

Swipe sideways to look around, and use a second finger to aim higher or lower. How to Play has the rest.

Company policy

Nothing can go wrong. HR checked.

No manager watches, nobody gives warnings, and there is nothing to fail. HR's memo records what you did. It does not grade it.

  • No clockNo timers, no energy and no shot limits. Take as long as you like.
  • No warningsHit a guest and they have a word with you. “Hey! I'm holding cocoa here.”
  • No gradesNo score, no rating, and no rules to break.
  • Play it againEvery round you reach stays open. Starting over is one tap.
  • Keep celebratingFinished a round? Stay at the party. Every bonus is still there.
  • FreeNo ads, nothing to buy, and nothing tracked.

Holiday innovation

Management has ideas.

D.I.M. Corp. has installed machines to solve problems nobody had. Hit one and see what it does. Some have a big red button. The label says DO NOT PRESS.

Human Resources

HR will log your festivity.

Every round ends with a memo from HR: what you did, the bonuses you found, and how many of the round's party favors you have turned up. It is entirely serious. It is never a grade.
